The IP program for the 2011/2012 season is an instructional program that teaches the fundamentals of hockey. It may extend from holding a stick correctly, handling the puck, skating with a stick to actual games. The program will remain instructional (Saturday and Sunday) for the first two months until all players are sorted by skill level. Depending on the length of time for this sorting period, Sunday games may be introduced earlier.
§ The program runs every Saturday and Sunday (excluding holidays)
§ Starts on Saturday September 24 / Sunday September 25
§ Saturday – 9:30 to 10:20 (instructional)
§ Sunday – 9:00 to 10:20 (games)
§ Sunday games will start in mid November
§ Program will be held at the Mississauga Valleys Community Centre Arena
