Lucy’s Seafood President’s Cup Champion – Cooksville Minor Peewee ‘A’

Congratulations to the Cooksville Phantoms Minor Peewee “A” for clinching the 2011/2012 MHL President’s Cup.

This is the second year in a row that this team has won the MHL’s coveted President’s Cup. Last year they represented the MHL/GTHL at the Provincials and they have not stopped after winning a close race for this award this season. This year, the team went through the season with an impressive 29-3-3 record and an equally impressive 167 (GF) / 33 (GA) – 0.82 GF average. What ‘s not mentioned is that they only compiled 161 PIM’s in 35 games which was 40 PIM’s less than their closest competitor. Truly, a highly skilled, experienced and well disciplined hockey team.
